Executive Summary

Saxon Furniture Ltd joined us in 2024 enabling us to deliver outsourced IT Services & Support, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Modernisation & Management and much more.

Additionally, the partnership also brought disaster recovery backups with monthly reporting, fine-tuned email security, a business-wide rollout of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and a complete refresh of Network Infrastructure and Wi-Fi systems and more. This enabled Saxon Furniture to secure their business from modern threats and bolster their infrastructure to support with continued growth.

By identifying and retiring legacy services & solutions, the business was also able to achieve tangible cost savings compared with upgrading their older equipment. The result has been faster resolution times and high user satisfaction rates across the business.

Objectives

When Saxon Furniture approached TwentyFour IT Services, the business wanted a partner to strengthen its cyber security posture, support long-standing projects, modernise its infrastructure for a growing and increasingly hybrid workforce, and deliver reliable, high-quality IT support.

Saxon’s leadership team also wanted clearer visibility of IT performance, faster responses to support requests and reporting that demonstrated real value. The initial pre-onboarding review identified stale Active Directory objects, weak password policies and practices, reliance on a single controller, an unused but billed FTTC circuit, and legacy server, network and Wi-Fi infrastructure.

Assessment and Visibility

−

As part of TwentyFour’s standard pre-onboarding process, an initial review identified areas of concern across cyber hygiene, infrastructure resilience and unnecessary services. These findings informed the priorities for onboarding, security improvements and infrastructure modernisation.

Outcomes and Benefits

Support ticket performance has reached a new level, with an average first response time of just 11 minutes and average resolution times under three hours across all ticket priorities, with a resolution time of under 1 hour on Service Line 1 tickets. This high level of support performance is reflected in consistently high user CSAT ratings, averaging 100% since they joined us.

Ongoing account reviews confirm that both server and Microsoft 365 data can be reliably recovered in the event of a disaster, with real world testing conducted with them on a regular basis. The adjustments to Active Email Threat Protection reduced unnecessary noise while maintaining strong protection, and the business’ cyber security services and strategies now align with Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 requirements.

Saxon chose TwentyFour IT for a multitude of factors, including our ability to combine technical expertise tailored solutions that suited the specific needs for their business. Our team is committed to provide best in class service on every project and ticket, from comms-room tidy-ups to policy rollouts, business reviews, training and even upcoming AI & automation work. Our unique approach ensures a strong return on investment across the business, demonstrating measurable productivity and efficiency gains across the business, as well as cost savings on unnecessary services.

“I just wanted to pass on my appreciation for the number of issues that were resolved. You have saved us hours of work.

It gives justification to the decision that Matt and I made to outsource our IT work to TwentyFour.”
